Air Products will exhibit technology and solutions for industrial gas projects at FIA 2022 in Algiers

Air Products, a world leader in industrial gas and a global leader in liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology and equipment, will exhibit its industrial gas technologies and solutions for a wide range of industrial processes at the Algiers International Trade Fair (FIA 2022) from June 13 to 17 at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes, Algiers, Algeria.

Attendees are invited to stop by the Air Products booth, #A16 in the US pavilion, to speak with an expert and learn more about the industrial gases technologies and solutions the company offers to a wide range of industries, including refining, petrochemical and metallurgical. , electronics, food and medicine.

Air Products’ projects in Algeria range from helium recovery, engineering and construction of air separation units for industrial and medical gases, to supplying Sonatrach with processing technologies and equipment for LNG production, including the supply of commercial industrial gases by SIDAL, a joint venture of Air Products and Sonatrach and a subsidiary of Helios.

In addition to representatives from Air Products, experts from Rotoflow, an Air Products company that combines one of the industry’s most trusted names in turbomachinery with global expertise in industrial gases, will also be on the booth to showcase their global customer support with services aftermarket and new equipment solutions. In addition to showcasing technologies and solutions on the stand, Dr. Hakim Benkrid, Managing Director and Major Project Development for Africa at Air Products, will participate in the “Hydrogen in the Energy Transition” roundtable. The presentation will take place on Thursday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Algerian-American Conference on Renewable Energies.

Air Products has been operating in Algeria since 1977 and has built a solid base in the country. The company’s proprietary process technology and major cryogenic heat exchangers are in operation at Sonatrach’s LNG facilities in Skikda and Arzew, the two facilities that account for a significant share of Algeria’s LNG exports. In addition, the Helios joint venture has been producing helium for the European market for more than 25 years.
